Rovinj
Today, Rovinj is one of the most attractive and developed tourist destinations in Croatia. Its Old Town was built on an island that was connected to the mainland only in the 18th century, and surrounded by as many as 22 small islands where a mild Mediterranean climate prevails. Symbolized by one of the most picturesque and romantic cities in the entire Mediterranean, Rovinj attracts visitors from all over the world who return to it faithfully. Rovinj manages in a very unusual way, almost with ease, to combine rich tradition and historical features with modern times. Being an active fishing port, you will experience the atmosphere of a small fishing village, especially during popular fishing festivities or in one of the traditional taverns called Spacio (in the past very popular among fishermen). On the other hand, the city has developed excellent gastronomy over the years and offers a high standard of tourist services in general.

I was in Rovinj in end of july, it was so occupated. A lot of people want to see it! Parking is very big, but don't have available parking place. Next time i will came in winter for enjoj this beautiful town.

We've been visiting Rovinj 3 times, and every time find something new. We like local restaurants, souvenirs, vines which is everywhere in Rovinj

Rovinj is absolutely not urban, it's closed for the car and you can just walking like it make people 5-7 century ago. It's amazing place, for must to visit

There are many historical cities to visit in Istria, but this one is undoubtedly one of the most striking. It stands right next to the water, it's just an incredible view. You can forget what a century it is now walking along its ancient streets

There are a lot of people there on summer evening days, it is absolytely impossible to walk with children. This of course does not spoil the place, but apparently you need to carefully choose the time to visit it.

The atmosphere is incredible, everything you can get from Istria is there. Beautiful arches like in Rome, statues, narrow ancient stone streets, endless sea.
