On a small square and surrounded by beautiful houses, is located a beautiful stone church of St. Benedict, after which the local area is named. The church dates from the 16th century, and is given for use by servitudes from the monastery of St. Catherine.The liturgy is held only once a year, on the day of the celebration of St. Benedict. In its vicinity are the port of St. Benedict and the Gate on the coast, with part of the solid medieval walls from the ancient 12th century.
