Zagreb
Živahni Zagreb nije samo glavni i najveći grad Hrvatske, već je i kulturno, gospodarsko i političko središte zemlje. Smješten je na padinama prekrasnog brda Medvednica (Zagrebačka Gora) na sjeveru i poplavnog područja rijeke Save na jugu. Ime "Zagreb" prvi put se spominje 1094. godine pri osnivanju Zagrebačke biskupije Kaptol, a Zagreb je postao slobodni kraljevski grad 1242. godine, dok podrijetlo imena i dalje ostaje misterij unatoč nekoliko teorija.Zagreb je klasičan srednjoeuropski grad s jasno vidljivim austrougarskim, bečkim i slavenskim utjecajima. Sklono tome, Stari grad Zagreb sastoji se od dva srednjovjekovna naselja na brdu: Grič, građansko naselje, koje je preimenovano u Gradec i Kaptol, crkveno naselje, koje je utvrđeno u 16. stoljeću. Ova dva grada nastavila su se kao suparnički entiteti sve do 19. stoljeća, kada ih je spojila niz novih zgrada i proširila prema jugu do poplavne ravnice Save, s pravocrtnim novim gradom trgova i javnih zgrada.Zagreb kao prijestolnica države, nudi za svakoga ponešto. There are a lot of fun activities in Zagreb city. My friends and i enjoyed attending its groovy concerts in the bright well-stocked clubs. The DJs of this city play entrancing music. We had so much fun!

My family and I stayed in the pleasant hotels of Zagreb. They had spacious and luxurious rooms with panoramic views of this magical city. Watching this city on top of a balcony I was really captivated.

Zagreb has some nice drinking spots. During my visit, I enjoyed the wines and beers served in the elegant restaurants. The local people are very lively and love dancing. The charm in this city is just infectious!

We sampled delicious seafood, especially the Malvazija and delicious grilled fish. The sea cuisine here is unrivaled. You've got to love this city!

My kids and I walked around Zagreb all day, played in the cobbled streets. We also tasted the street foods such as marinated Olives which are irresistible. This city is very adorable!

There are lot of exciting sports activities to partake in while in Zagreb. I especially loved rowing in the lake and also playing football. This city has fun activites for everyone. Both young and old.
