Lastovo
Lastovo is an old medieval settlement of amphitheater shape with a long and interesting history. It is the only settlement on the island that is not located right by the sea. It is surrounded by hills, and on each of them there is a lookout point with a view of the place and the surrounding fields. Family houses from the 15th and 16th centuries are adorned with Lastovo "sulari" and richly decorated "fumari" (chimneys) which have become a trademark of Lastovo.Lastovo staircases (stone steps) wrap the old core around the church and beyond and give a special Mediterranean atmosphere.

This town is an old medieval settlement. It has an amphitheater type of planning. The stone paths were amazing. The Sulari are Lastovo trademark in housing. I loved admiring their building. Their architectural designs were amazing.

Ancient place with interesting history that grasps your enthusiasm and drives the desire to see more and hear more about the place. We enjoyed the views of the landscape and the loved the structure and surroundings of the church.

We were delighted to see this beautiful settlement on the island. The atmosphere is here is lovely and joyful especially the hills.
