Senj
The oldest town on the Croatian coast The town of Senj, known for its turbulent and rich history, was founded more than 3000 years ago. The symbol of the town is the fortress Nehaj which was built back in 1558 and was the center of Uskok In the old town with various shops, narrow streets, strongholds and sacral buildings you can see the unique diversity of this city which is connected by sea with other Mediterranean cities.Located by the sea, at the foot of Mount Kapela and Velebit which is the largest mountain in Croatia.Senj is located on the coastal road that connects Rijeka with the south of the country.Events: - Cycling race "Zavizhanov uspon" (from 0 to 1594 m), June- Manifestation "Days of Uskok", reconstruction of events and customs from the time of construction of the Nehaj fortress: July 11 - 13- Samba festival - Samba mania, two-day festival, July- Klapa Senj festival, July- Senj concert evenings, July, August

We visited the castle and the historical collections were preserved properly and arrange in a presentable manner. Great tour at the fortress and lovely place that tells the story of the area.

Nice and decent beaches that we had the chance to visit and enjoyed the sunset and the mid-morning temperatures and they are children friendly.

We were walking around the town and we visited the famous monument and the latitude sign. It was an awesome moment and we could miss to takes beautiful pictures of the place.

We visited the beach bars on the evenings and the they were entertaining with great music and spectacular cocktails and other drinks being served.

I visited the restaurant with my family and enjoyed the delicious seafood dishes and drinks. They also were serving a variety of other dishes that were exquisite.

I loved the accommodations place that i stayed at and the great services they offered. The views of the beaches and the superb sea was stunning and it was relaxing.
