Nova Kapela is a village and municipality located in Slavonia, near Nova Gradiška. It is located at the foot of the beautiful Poярeырka gora. One of the symbols of this small place is the baroque parish church of the Blessed Virgin Mary from 1773. The church is very important for the local population because on the feast of the Name of Mary, September 12 with the participation of a large crowd of believers with a song and a solemn procession. on Dubovac in the new parish church and was placed right here on the main altar. The inhabitants of Nova Kapela have kept the traditional lifestyle and are mostly engaged in the textile industry and animal husbandry.
