This town is various historical places. The ruins and remnants of the Monastery of the Benedictine was so beautiful. One could see the plan of the monastery. I also visited the Mashkovich Han and my experience there was so epic. Such a learning experience.

This place had a rich history and cultural heritage. Being a lover of history, I visited the fortress which stood in the middle of town. The grounds were well kept and the inside was cool. I saw pictures and antiques which were many years old. I loved the feeling of being here. I enjoyed my visit to this place.

The natural lake sat majestically in the middle of the river. It was so beautiful with clear waters. I sat down at a bench just admiring it. Fishermen we're busy fishing and I could see other people coming to buy fish. I loved the fresh air by the lake and wished I could stay overnight.

I toured one of the famous fortresses in the location that is believed to have been home to the Venetian and Ottoman rulers. It was in existence as early as the 9th century and was owned by the Croatian King. It is well preserved and I enjoyed experiencing the culture of the people.

I toured the Mashkovicha han in this location, the best preserved secular Ottoman monument in the location, and was awed with the beauty in construction style, The interior decorations, and the cultural significance of the location. Will visit again soon.
