Podaca
Podaca is a coastal town located in the beautiful Makarska Riviera, formed on the rocky slopes of high Biokovo.Today Podaca is completely turned to tourism, which, given its natural beauty and favorable location is to be expected. In addition to tourism, the population is traditionally engaged in fishing and olive growing. Near Podaca is the church of Sv. Ivan in the cemetery, built by rich nobles Kachichi. It is one of the most significant monuments of early-medieval construction of this area.Podaca boasts many beautiful beaches, the most famous of which are Ravanje, Vala and Kapache, located in the shade of large fragrant pines, and with many Dalmatian specialties.Podaca is increasingly becoming a desirable place for a peaceful vacation. While staying in Podaca do not miss to visit major tourist destinations such as Makarska, Omish and Split.

what an eye catching place located in makarska riviera which is formed with beautiful rocky slopes. we enjoyed some fishing lessons which we had never engaged before. we took some of the oil that was extracted from the olive plant since the olive farming was done at podaca. will visit this place soon.

we learnt about the statues that were placed in st. ivan which symbolized rich history of podaca. were placed after a long walk , we took some rest at one of the beautiful beach which had a cool shade and took some fresh air as we bonded even more. this is the favourite place we will never forget.

I longed for a peaceful vacation after working nonstop for six months. I came to this place and found a haven where i could just sit quietly watching TV and reading the newspaper. I ate local specialities which were delicious and served by friendly waiters. I went back home after one week feeling energized and ready for work.

I visited this place and was amazed by the beautiful beaches I found. They were clean with natural green vegetation surrounding them. I went swimming and diving all day long. I even made new friends who took pictures which we are ice cream and had fun watching other people swim.

Charming place that we visited with my boyfriends for our vacation and it was totally worth the time and every penny. We loved the amazing beaches and the weather at the place was purely favourable for us. The shade was great and it was relaxing and refreshing for us on our time at the beach.

Best destination for anybody to visit since we had some great landmarks and sceneries to witness. We visited the cemetery and the construction was superb with other structures around the town being unique and amazing.

We spent most of our evenings on the beach as we watched the sunset with my family. the children were very impressed with the sight.
