Komin is a small place located in the eastern valley of the Neretva. The name of the place means chimney, fireplace. Initially, Komin was located on the hills Kozjak and Galichak near the mouth of the Neretva into the sea, but about 400 years ago due to malaria, Kominians moved 6 kilometers upstream, where they founded a new Komin and there the city stands today. You will fall in love with this charming place right away - the locals are very hospitable, and you can enjoy the famous Neretva fruit - homemade tangerines, peaches, plums, pomegranate and quality fresh fish from which stands out eels that are specific to this area.
