Komarna je malo , nekada ribarsko mjesto, smješteno uz jadransku magistralu, 7 km južno od rijeke Neretve. Ako ste umorni od gužve i željni bijega od brzog gradskog života, Komarna je idealno mjesto za vas jer ćete ovdje pronaći mir i ljepotu krajolika i nepreglednog plavog mora. Kombinacija rijeke i mora učinit će vaš boravak nezaboravnim. Sa bilo koje točke u Komarni pruža se prekrasan pogled na grebene, litice i male otoke u blizini poluotoka Pelješca. Komarna ima brojne pješčane plaže, od kojih su najpoznatije plaža Villa Dorida, plaža Bay i plaža Komarna.U Kleku, smještenom 3 km južno od Komarne, možete pronaći više turističkih sadržaja poput restorana, kafića i trgovina. Dok ste u Komarni, možete posjetiti povijesnu baštinu područja kao što su: arheološki muzej Narona (nalazi se u Vidu i jedini je muzej u Hrvatskoj), ornitološka zbirka (nalazi se u Metkoviću i jedna je od najbogatijih zbirke u Europi; sadrži preko 340 prepariranih ptica koje su bile ili su i dalje prisutne u dolini Neretve)

My kids were excited to see different species of birds stuffed in the ornithological collection, they also photos of some of the birds for memory keeps. Us on the other hand, graced our eyes at the different archaeological put in the museums that was well maintained and preserved upto date. There were a variety of restaurants, shops and cafes for stop overs for a snack or a meal.

I visited this place and I was amazed by the beautiful, clean beaches and the groves and pine forests. The climate was conducive to sports and ball games. I loved water sports the most. It was an excellent way of spending my well-deserved vacation.

The tour to the museum was one of the amazing places that we managed to visit on our trip through the museum. I enjoyed the sight of the beautiful exhibitions and collections that we loved. Wonderful experience through the museum and i loved it.
