Baderna is a village within the city of Porech, 13 km east of Porech. The population is mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry, and more and more recently in tourism. More and more old Istrian houses have been renovated into holiday homes with swimming pools. Also, apartments that have slowly run out of time have been decorated into new and modern apartments. Several new villas with swimming pools have been built for rent, which have a very good occupancy even outside the summer months.
