Potomje
Dann ist da noch ein altes Dorf auf der Halbinsel Peljesac. Aufgrund seiner Lage (mit kühlen Nächten und angenehmen, warmen Tagen) ist Potomje als Zentrum der Weinanbaugebiete Dingac, Plavac und Postup bekannt, die die Einheimischen (heute etwas mehr als 250 Einwohner) noch immer seit Jahrhunderten produzieren. Obwohl das Dorf recht klein ist, verfügt es über 5 alte Kirchen aus dem 14. Jahrhundert - St. Peter, St. Thomas, St. George und St. Lucy, später die Kirche auf den Feldern, die für Besucher geöffnet war.

The wine in this location is of great quality. I learned that the cool nights and warm days were perfect condition for the growth of great quality grapes to provide quality wine. I toured some of the wine-growing areas like Dingach, Plavac, and Postup.

The ancient churches in this location built from the 14th century onwards offer a significant cultural heritage. I toured some of them including; St. Peter, St. Thomas, St. George, and St. Lucy. It was a great learning and discovery experience.

Wineries and vineyards are the major characterizing things at the place. This has helped advertise the place far and wide with its specialties in production and processing of wine that we came to witness with my family. We enjoyed the wine tasting program and we could not miss picking some for later.

The churches are open to visitors and i loved how the church had the interesting history with catchy architectural designs. Peaceful place that we really loved and enjoyed the tour around the place. Wonderful places that are absolutely lovely.

Spending the night here was a haven for me, the nights were cool and the atmosphere very lovely. We took wine produced by the locals and i must admit that its taste is a die for . The many churches around helped us replenish our faith and belief as believers of the Gospel.

I visited this town and I was able to have a spiritual journey. This town has 5 churches. I visited 3 of them and I was taken aback. They were so marvelous. Their beauties just stood out. Their ancient paintings and sculptures were amazing.

Ancient village with amazing things to see and love about. We visited the place and had the chance of touring at the churches. We were amazed by the beautiful architectural buildings that the churches have and the wonderful sculptures placed on the churches. Nice, quiet and peaceful place to be.
