Orahovica
Orahovica ist eine Stadt in Slawonien. Sie befindet sich an den Hängen des Papuk-Gebirges und in der Nähe der Staatsstraße.Orahovica verfügt über eine gut entwickelte Industrie (Herstellung von Fliesen, Plattenparkett, Weinproduktion, Obst- und Gemüseverarbeitung, Metallverarbeitung ...). Die Landwirtschaft spielt eine wichtige Rolle für die Wirtschaft der Stadt (Ackerbau und Viehzucht, Süßwasserfische, Obst und Weinbau).Der Name Orahovica leitet sich von dem Wort "orah" (Walnuss) ab.Orahovica wurde erstmals 1228 in einer historischen Urkunde von König Andreas II. offiziell erwähnt. Die Festung Ružica, nicht weit von Orahovica entfernt, wurde 1357 erstmals als königliches Gut erwähnt. Im 15. und in der ersten Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts war die Stadt eine blühende Gemeinde, die verschiedenen Patriziern gehörte.

Beautiful landscape that we had the oppoturnity to see on our hike and nature walk around the trail and enjoyed the view of the wonderful green vegetation and the mountainous region it possesses. Took lovely pictures of the places.

Eye catching scenery at the waterfall that we loved when we went on a tour to the area. Unmatched nature that is refreshing and perplexing.

The crystal clear lake gives the perfect picture of the beautiful place it is and we onjoyed swimming at the lake and getting refreshed.
