Lobor
Slijedivši pisanu prošlost i usmena kazivanja starijih ljudi ovog kraja, Lobor se spominje već davne 1257. godine kao Castrum Lobor. Ime mu vjerojatno potječe od latinske riječi Labor (laboratorium), a pretpostavlja se da su na tom prostoru Rimljani imali svoje radionice i kamenolome. Kao trag svog boravka ostavili su nadgrobne spomenike od kojih se jedan (cecellija superiana), iskopan 1857. godine, nalazi u Arheološkom muzeju u Zagrebu.Danas se u Općinu Lobor stiže asfaltnom cestom i svaki dobronamjernik naći će ovdje u svakom domaćinstvu i prostorima društvenog standarda dobru pitku vodu, električnu struju, telefon i plin. Za spomenuti su i veće loborske manifestacije, primjerice Loborski fašnik i proslava dana općine, Janine.Netaknuta priroda, čist zrak, bistri potoci, kulturne vrednote i velika srca mještana glavna su obilježja Lobora i upravo to se nudi svima onima koji žele navratiti u ovaj kraj.

We stopped at a household where we were offered with good drinking water, thanks to the Labor Municipality. We later joined the locals in the Lobor Carnival event, they were cordial and charming, they made our stay beautiful and unforgettable. It was a home away from home treatment from the locals, kudos to their hospitality.

Untouched nature that is fascinating with great atmosphere that is welcoming and lovely. We attended one of the famous events that are organised and the experience was unmatched. Lovely setting with a great cultural theme and wonderful night it was for me.

The store parks at this place were beautiful. The lush vegetation and greenery were such a sight to behold. The polluted fresh air made me feel good. I enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over a glass of sweet local wine.
