Grad Korčula
Korčula je prekrasan utvrđeni grad na istočnoj obali istoimenog otoka koji se može pohvaliti bogatom poviješću. Naime, Statut grada i otoka Korčule iz davne 1214. godine najstariji je pravni dokument u Hrvatskoj i među najstarijim slavenskim uopće.Stari grad je okružen veličanstvenim zidinama, a ulice su raspoređene u obliku riblje kosti omogućujući slobodno strujanje zraka, ali i štiteći od jakih vjetrova.Grad Korčula isplaniran je tako da postoje zapadna i istočna strana grada. Na te dvije strane otok dijeli glavna ulica koja prolazi točno središtem otoka. Prvenstveno je izgrađen tako da bi u njemu postojala odlična obrana od raznih napada. Gledajući grad iz ptičje perspektive, ljudi su složni da neodoljivo podsjeća na riblju kost. Plan grada, reći će mnogi, baš zato što je takav kakav je, pruža gotovo pa idealne uvjete za život svim svojim stanovnicima.

This city is a combination of both ancient and modern. It's very appealing and I especially enjoyed walking up the steep stairways to the churches on the hills. Here I enjoyed a terrific view of the lush landscape and distant magical shore

My wife and I spent a glorious time on our trip to this fascinating city. We greatly admired the evacuated treasures found in the gorgeous art galleries. We aim to bring our kids on our next trip for them to enjoy the magic too.

To reach the fabulous city, we took a ferry ride that enabled us to see how gloriously beautiful it looked. Once we landed on shore, we were received by very friendly guides who made our stay super fun!

On our family trip to Korcula, we rented a fabulous apartment. It was surrounded by very wonderful sights. The hosts were very charming and super friendly. The sunset views in the city are just to die for!

This city's history and culture are just captivating. I especially enjoyed its knightly tournament sword dances and the beautiful singing groups. I highly recommend this city to everyone who enjoys hearing magical stories!

This city is legendary because of its famed explorers. My family had a great time at the museums learning about their world travels. Their lives are showcased by remarkable scenes and realistic puppets. This city is just adorable!
