Novigrad (Istria)
This town is located on the west coast of the beautiful Istrian peninsula. Novigrad, known in Istria as Cittanova, is known and popular among tourists for its unique natural beauty, rich cultural heritage and the cleanest sea in this part of the Mediterranean coast.The old town of Novigrad was built on a small island that was connected to the mainland in the 18th century; well-preserved stone and solid city walls from the early Middle Ages are one of the most beautiful tourist attractions of this place. Novigrad has retained its unique medieval structure and layout over the years with narrow, winding streets and small shops, and there are several well-preserved examples of secular architecture from the Venetian Empire, such as the town lodge and several houses designed in beautiful Venetian-Gothic style.

I loved the the Gothic style of the several houses found here, they depicted the great work of craftsmen. What mesmerized me is how well they had retained the medieval structures found here. A photo is a must when you visit this place.

Gothic-style buildings that have been present for years and tell the ancient history of the place. Picturesque place that we visited with amazing streets that we had the chance to have a walk around through the whole time. Nice place to have a tour and we loved the beauty and the heritage of the place,

I came to this beautiful place to have peace of mind. I needed complete rest. I had just lost my husband. I loved the country air and the fresh smell of the green vegetation. I relaxed on my hotel balcony watching the sunset. I felt refreshed when I went back.
