Stadt Hvar
Die Stadt Hvar ist der größte Ort auf der gleichnamigen Insel. Hvar wurde im Mittelalter berühmt und mächtig, als es ein wichtiger Hafen der Republik Venedig war. Die römische Siedlung befand sich im 3. Jahrhundert neben dem Hafen. Der Bau der Stadtmauern begann, das Zentrum der Altstadt entstand im 15. Jh. Am Nordhang oberhalb des Platzes steht ein Teil der erhaltenen Paläste der Hvarer Adligen.Heute ist Hvar das Zentrum des Inseltourismus, eines der bekanntesten Reiseziele Kroatiens und eines der begehrtesten und meistbesuchten Ziele an der gesamten Adria

The gift shops at the city were amazing and had beautiful gifts and i could not miss getting several for myself and other for my daughter.

The summer season makes the city a hub of business. I was amazed at how the city does attracts so many people for business and festivities.

my daughter loves Hvar City as she lives her fairy fantasies since its the one town in the adriatic sea enjoying most sunny hours. its also great coming from a cold region

We preferred a calm and serene environment, renting an apartment in the outskirts of the city during the festive season. We really enjoyed the privacy we had.

Away from the tourists parts in the city, we rented bicycles and rode our way to the outskirts of Hvar to have a feel of life outside the city.

Hvar city comprises of multiple ancient places. We enjoyed visiting the city and learnt alot about the ancient times of the city.

We had a quiet stroll within the city. The location is worth having a walk in the evening. we were there during the off peak season and it was pleasantly serene.
