Park prirode Žumberak - Samoborsko gorje uglavnom je brdsko-planinsko područje koje pokriva južni dio Žumberačke gore i Samoborsko gorje čine prirodnu granicu Hrvatske s Republikom Slovenijom, a njegov sjeverni dio na slovenskoj strani nosi ime Gorjanci. Park se prostire na nevjerojatnih 333 km2 i nalazi se u blizini grada Zagreba. S više od 347 kilometara uređenih pješačkih i 200 kilometara biciklističkih staza, te dva penjališta - Okić i Terihaji, tada dva registrirana terena za paraglajding koji lete Japetić i Plešivica, Park prirode Žumberak idealno je odredište za bijeg u prirodu i aktivni odmor. Izletnike i planinare oduševljavaju panoramski vidikovci koji se otvaraju s Okića, Plešivice i Japetića .

We climbed the steep hills and mountains in the park. My wife hired climbing equipment nearby because she had no prior mountain climbing experience. It was awesome.

Established bike trails made it possible for my team to navigate all through the forested park without getting lost or harming ourselves. Besides, we were equipped with helmets beforehand.
