Slatine
A small fishing village, on the northeast side of Chiovo, offers visitors healthy organically grown vegetables, virgin olive oil, homemade wine, dried figs, almonds, fresh fish caught by Slatina fishermen in their restaurants and taverns. For those of an active mind, five-a-side football and basketball courts are available. There are also numerous bays, cliffs, pebble and stone beaches, pine forests and plenty of shade for hot summer days. Slatine is a perfect place for bathing families with small children and those who love peace and quiet. Stay in one of the beautifully decorated villas and apartments with swimming pools, peace and privacy. Boaters can moor a boat in a small harbor, the so-called port, which has 50 berths, and take a walk through this picturesque place, refresh yourself in one of the restaurants, bathe in one of the bays or rent a bike and go on a nature trip.

My colleagues and I often visited this village mainly because the accommodation units had swimming pools and were very spacious and of quality. We played basketball in the available court after pitching our ideas to potential clients. We took many pictures here.

Engaging in active vacation was my passion. I visited this place where I found the locals playing several ball games. I joined the basketball team and led my team to victory. I was thrilled and happy for this.

This place had beautiful villas and apartments. Just what I needed for my vacation! This was a home away from home. I enjoyed swimming at the quiet pool and we had meals at the cool restaurant outside.

I always come to Slatine. After coming here 5 years ago and enjoying the jet skiing experience, I have never missed coming back. The euphoric experience is something I always look forward to.

How can I forget this town when I had so much fun in it. The boat trips we took with my wife were nice. The blue lagoons that we visited looked just heavenly. The guides served us exotic wines on the trip. It was a jubilant trip.

There are reasons why this town is so famous and I got to find out when I visited. There are very wonderful places to go and wander in like the museums, the palaces and the shores where I admired the vast blue sea. Everything was stunning.
