Njivice se prvi put spominju 1474. god u darovnici kneza Ivana sedmog Frankopana, staro ribarsko selo postalo je turističko središte s modernim smještajnim kapacitetom. Uz atraktivne plaže u neposrednoj je blizini nalazi se Jezero koje obiluje bogatom flaurom i faunom, do jezera vode takozvani koziji putevi, pravi su raj za ljubitelje ptica koje se tamo nalaze.U blizini i oko jezera nalaze se i biciklističke rute koje pružaju avanturistima da se sa plaže mogu zaputiti i uživati u prirodi barem na jedan dan.

Talk of the rarest bird species and Njivice offers some of the unique species of bird that are there. We went for bird watching and enjoyed the sight of the birds moving and flying around. Adventurous place with great weather that is soothing and relaxing. Remarkable time throughout.

I needed a vacation after my long period in school. I came to this place and fell in love with it's beauty. The clean quiet streets and shops full of supplies were amazing. I bought several traditional attire and shoes. I ate Precious food at the clean taverns accompanied by sweet local wine. The air was fresh when I enjoyed watching The sunset while seated on the balcony. I felt refreshed when my time was up.

Adventurous tour as we went cycling along the routes and trails around the village. Amazing atmosphere that is refreshing and soothing. I enjoyed myself and loved the beautiful landscape and the sea breeze

We visited the village and went for bird watching and it was amazing. We saw lots of bird species that were lovely and even took some pictures that looked beautiful. The experience was unique and one to remember.
