U uvali Sepen, kod Omišlja, nalaze se ostaci Fulfiniuma, grada veterana rimske vojske nastao u 1 st poslije Krista.

Na periferiji toga antičkog grada nastao je u 5. stoljeću impozantan ranokršćanski kompleks (Mirine).

Nepoznanica je kada i kako dolazi do smiraja sjajne civilizacije Fulfiniuma no pretpostavlja se da tome pridonosi njegova nezaštićenost na obali. U doba seobe naroda stanovnici Fulfiniuma sklanjaju se u prirodno zaštićenije naselje na 85 metara visokoj hridi, gdje život teče i danas.
