Merag
Merag je naselje i trajektna luka na istoku otoka Cresa. ajbliže naselje je grad Cres (3 km jugozapadno).Merag ima svega par stalnih stanovnika, te je zadržalo status tradicionalnog hrvatskog sela.Pored mjesta se nalazi Meraška jama, velika tektonska jama obrasla gustom lovorovom šumom.Meraška jama je neobična geomorfološka građevina uklesana u padinu, lijevo od trajektnog pristaništa i sela Merag. Riječ je o rijetkom i vrlo impresivnom primjeru urušavanja doline na otoku Cresu. Vjerojatno je nastala u davnoj prošlosti kada se urušio krov velike podzemne špilje. Strane Meraške jame su strme i stjenovite, dok se na dnu doline nakupilo mnogo krhotina i mnogo velikih gromada, o čemu svjedoči do golemih lomova i udubljenja stijena koji su se ovdje dogodili u prošlosti.

There is also a unique and rare valley which explains more about the Geography of Merag. Its rich history explains further about the the underground cave that collapsed. Educative history that I will explain to my family when I go back to home

We visited this place and we're amazed by the dense valley and caves here. We explored the area and discovered many caves. We even came across big snake and other wild animals. Our guide warned us to be on our hard because of some poisonous plants. We had a great adventure.

This place harboured natural forests and rocks. I loved taking long walks around the forest listening to the birds sing. I loved the fresh scent of flowers and the smell of wet soil. I could later go back for a nice delicious meal at the hotel.

The area has a dense flora that captured our eyes on visiting the village. The weather and the atmosphere was conducive and enticing that led us to having a hike around the valley. Breathtaking views of the landscape and some unique features that enabled us to witness the amazing places.

We had boat tours and rented a boat that we really enjoyed the cruise across the sea. The guide was friendly and funny and allowed us to have some drinks on the boat and also some music to listen to. The views were spectacular not forgetting the wonderful friends that i spent all the time with.
