Rijeka Krka izvire u podnožju planine Dinare, a utječe u Jadransko more kraj Šibenika. Najpoznatija je zbog posebnog krajolika kojeg čine sedam sedrenih slapišta te je njezin tok od Knina do Skradina proglašen Nacionalnim parkom.Nacionalni park Krka proglašen je 1985. godine kao krški fenomen sedam sedrenih slapova iznimne ljepote. Najbolje je park posjetiti u proljeće ili ljeto, kada je u punom sjaju i kada se posjetitelji mogu osvježiti u čistoj vodi rijeke.Ispod slapa Skradinski buk nalazi se Hidroelektrana Jaruga, druga najstarija hidroelektrana u svijetu i najstarija u Europi. Puštena je u pogon samo dva dana nakon prve hidroelektrane na slapovima Niagare. Veliku zaslugu u izgradnji hidroelektrane je imao slavni izumitelj Nikola Tesla.

The picturesque of tree town is charming. The greenery amplified the beauty of the place even more, i took several pictures that were testimonials to be in my upcoming nature magazine. Great place.

One of the unique things about Karka is the famous waterfall that is fascinating. We visited the waterfalls and the hydroelectric power plants at the place and the tour was amazing. Got to learn few amazing things about the place and the enjoyed the beautiful nature that surrounds the place.

The oldest hydroelectric power plant was amazing. I came to this place to specifically see this plant. I enjoyed the waterfall view and the fresh air that surrounded the place. It was a great experience I had here.
