Blue eye and Desne Lake
The beautiful area of Modro oko and the lake near the settlement of Desna is a partially submerged karst depression on the banks of the Neretva. The largest is the Blue Eye in the shape of a small karst lake whose waters have a sky blue color. The spring has been captured and is used for water supply of the settlement of Desna, which is included in the municipality of Kula Norinska. The area is characterized by an abundance of water and wetland habitats. Apart from being a landscape, this area is also important from the point of view of biodiversity because it contains endangered habitats, and it is also important for the migration and wintering of birds.
