Podaca
Podaca is a coastal town located in the beautiful Makarska Riviera, formed on the rocky slopes of high Biokovo.Today Podaca is completely turned to tourism, which, given its natural beauty and favorable location is to be expected. In addition to tourism, the population is traditionally engaged in fishing and olive growing. Near Podaca is the church of Sv. Ivan in the cemetery, built by rich nobles Kachichi. It is one of the most significant monuments of early-medieval construction of this area.Podaca boasts many beautiful beaches, the most famous of which are Ravanje, Vala and Kapache, located in the shade of large fragrant pines, and with many Dalmatian specialties.Podaca is increasingly becoming a desirable place for a peaceful vacation. I found it very easy to navigate village due to the natives warm welcome and open communication. I rarely got lost even without a guide.

The cusines I had there were well prepared and could easily be linked to italian cuisine. The staff were very available and even requested for feedback.

We went to the park with the kids and they got engaded in so many acivities. i find the village kids friendly which was a win for our family.

Visiting the sites and learning more about them was incredible. What amazed me is how the sites were preseved and looked neat.

I went skiing and it was such an adventurous experience. The waves were quite wild and i had a difficult time balancing but the sking guy gave me a few tips.

I hired a bicycle which was affordable and was able to see the beautiful hills in podaca. The experience was nice and i would highly recommend.

On my three day holiday I basked frequently on the yatch and loved hearing the ocean waves and people around chatting.
