Krka
Der Fluss Krka entspringt am Fuße des Dinara-Gebirges und mündet in der Nähe von Sibenik in die Adria. Er ist vor allem für seine besondere Landschaft bekannt, die aus sieben Travertin-Wasserfällen besteht, und sein Lauf von Knin bis Skradin wurde zum Nationalpark erklärt.Der Nationalpark Krka wurde 1985 als ein Karstphänomen mit sieben Travertin-Wasserfällen von außergewöhnlicher Schönheit erklärt. Am besten besucht man den Park im Frühjahr oder Sommer, wenn er in voller Blüte steht und man sich im klaren Wasser des Flusses erfrischen kann.Unterhalb des Wasserfalls Skradinski buk befindet sich das Wasserkraftwerk Jaruga, das zweitälteste Wasserkraftwerk der Welt und das älteste in Europa. Es wurde nur zwei Tage nach dem ersten Wasserkraftwerk an den Niagarafällen in Betrieb genommen. Der berühmte Erfinder Nikola Tesla hat sich große Verdienste um den Bau des Wasserkraftwerks erworben.

The picturesque of tree town is charming. The greenery amplified the beauty of the place even more, i took several pictures that were testimonials to be in my upcoming nature magazine. Great place.

One of the unique things about Karka is the famous waterfall that is fascinating. We visited the waterfalls and the hydroelectric power plants at the place and the tour was amazing. Got to learn few amazing things about the place and the enjoyed the beautiful nature that surrounds the place.

The oldest hydroelectric power plant was amazing. I came to this place to specifically see this plant. I enjoyed the waterfall view and the fresh air that surrounded the place. It was a great experience I had here.
