Donji Miholjac
Donji Miholjac se nalazi u samom srcu ravnice, to je grad u Slavoniji, na rijeci Dravi, graniči s Mađarskom. Pogodan zemljopisni položaj i prirodne osobitosti kao što su blizina rijeke Drave, guste šume i drugo davale su povoljne uvjete za život na području Donjeg Miholjca od paleolita do danas, o tome govore brojni arheološki nalazi.Ime mu dolazi od Svetog Mihaela. Za vrijeme Starog Rima zvala se Mariniana. Postoji nekoliko predloženih etimologija za ime "Mariniana". Jedna je da dolazi od rimskog osobnog imena "Marinus". Druga je da potječe iz indoeuropskih korijena i znači "močvarna dolina".

This town is so lovely. It is surrounded by dense forests and also borders hungary. Its buildings have ancient architectural designs and structures. It has existed since the Paleolithic period. From this town one could see the River Drava.

We loved the rich flora and fauna at the plains. The place has an amazing landscape and wonderful archeological findings. The buildings at the place are gorgeous and better standards at the place. We received a good reception and the people are hospitable.

We were delighted to see the beautiful dense forests found here. The trees offer the town a real beauty. Our private tour to this town was great.
