Potirna is a village on the island of Kochula in Croatia. Korchula is part of the Dalmatian coast and belongs to the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. Potirna is part of the municipality of Blato.Potirna developed in the mid-19th century around several fertile fields at the extreme western end of the island. In Potirna there are archeological remains of Gradina, as well as ancient Greek artifacts. The forts were built by the Illyrians and were stone fortresses. The forts are located in other parts of the island. The cultivation of grapes, olives and figs is the main agricultural base. The village consists of Gornja Potirna and Donja Potirna. The most famous local bays are Grdaca, Zhalich, Garma, Nova and Slatina.
