Vižinada
Vižinada je prekrasno mjestašce koje će vas zadiviti svojim izgledom i atmosferom a smješteno je u zapadnoj Istri. Prema zapisima Vižinada je stara oko tisuću godina. Uspon doživljava nakon što su je naselili stanovnici nekadašnjeg Ružara, kaštel cca 2 km od Vižinade još iz pretpovijesnog doba. Pretpostavlja se da je mjesto bilo naseljeno do početka 15.stoljeća kada se njegovi stanovnici sele u današnju Vižinadu. Njene ulice željno očekuju svakog putnika nudeći povijest i zanimljivosti kakvima se malo koji gradić može pohvaliti. Ulica s imenom Carlotte Grisi, poznatom balerinom 19.stoljeća, laganim će ritmom svjedočiti o njenom rođenju i prvim koracima otplesanim baš u Vižinadi. Njen trg, na kojem je stara cisterna sa dva bunara, ponosi se mletačkim grbom te starim skladištem iza nje, koji čuva u kamenu isklesanog Krilatog lava i ploču sa uklesanim porezima iz drevne luke Baštije koja govori o nekim davnim vremenima.Jednom od najljepših pogleda na Zelenu i Modru Istru možete svjedočiti s brda koje se uzdiže nad dolinom Mirne.

I enjoyed walking through the street of Carlotte Grisi where I saw the famous ballerina of the 19th century and the square with the old cistern and two wells. I got to learn about how these buildings were erected and cultural significance they serve.

The place has a great atmosphere and is well built with amazing streets and buildings too. We went on an evening walk with my friend around and loved how the place looked. We took some few pictures of ourselves and the place and it was great day for us.

We had a visit to the vineyard and the experience was totally worth the visit. We loved the landscape and the farm with the vines and also had the opportunity to learn of the processing and history of the place. The trip wouldn't be successful without a taste of the different varieties of the wines.
