Valun
Valun, tipično ribarsko mjesto zaklonjeno zaljevom Pernat, a smješteno uz Creski zaljev, nadaleko je poznato po otkriću poznate Valunske ploče. Ploča je pronađena u crkvici sv. Marka koja se nalazi na seoskom groblju.Ovaj izniman dokument, iznimno važan za povijest i kulturu Hrvata u regiji, potječe iz IX. stoljeća, a danas se može podijeliti na zidu župne crkve sv. Valunska ploča poznata je po dobro očuvanom dvojezičnom natpisu, jedan na glagoljici, a drugi na latinskom.Smještaj je lako pronaći, bilo u privatnim apartmanima ili u malom, uređenom kampu, posebno pogodnom za sve one koji svoje slobodno vrijeme vole provoditi u neposrednoj blizini prirode. No, Valun je prije svega grad poznat po gastronomskim specijalitetima, posebno školjkama i drugim morskim plodovima, pripremljenim stručno i s velikom pažnjom, po samo tradicionalnim receptima.

We had a pleasant time in Valun. Everything was just nice, particularly its beaches. The sandy seafloor is nice for taking dips. The amazing rocky views are just idyllic. I enjoyed every moment here.

I loved Valun from the first trip I had here. The green landscape was very picturesque. The views at the museums on the hills are simply unforgettable. This town took my breath away.

Valun town is a place worth a trip. The beautiful ports are very famous and I loved the cafes next to it where I could enjoy a coffee and the beautiful sunset. The place looked very romantic.

My boyfriend loves the sea world and he made me love it, especially after we visited valun. The boat trips where we could watch the whales and sweet dolphins are where I also fell in love with the sea. We shall visit again soon.

This town is a very magical place to visit. The blue caves are nice to go diving in and enjoy the views underwater. We enjoyed it very much with my pals.

We came to Valun with my family. We especially enjoyed the walking adventures. From visiting the art museums to the ancient cathedrals. We really had a blast and I already recommended this destination to all my friends.
