Ozalj
The old town of Ozalj was built on a cliff above the river Kupa. Once upon a time, it was the seat of a powerful Croatian nobleman and the scene of exceptional cultural and historical events. Today's Ozalj builds its identity and tourist promotion on the foundations of valuable cultural and historical heritage and traditional peculiarities of the region.The city was first mentioned in 1244 as a free royal city. From the end of the 14th century, the town was owned by the Frankopans, from whose hands it passed under the Zrinski family in 1550, which remained its owner until 1671.To date, Ozalj has taken on a good foundation for the development of tourism, especially of a cultural-historical and excursion character. Thanks to its picturesque surroundings, this area is very suitable for lovers of history, nature and recreation at the famous Kupa beach.

My friends and I fell in love with the wines of this town. We visited the lush vineyards and learned about the wine-making process. The winetasting of the sparkling wine left us electrified. We hope to be back.

This town is my peace haven where I come to deeply relax. I enjoying renting the cozy apartments with glorious views and homely ambiance. Whenever I visit Ozalj, I usually feel like am at home away from home!

This town has a lot of adventurous activities. My girl squad and I really enjoyed all the water sports during the day. But the highlight was the nightlife where we partied in the upbeat pubs. The locals here are super fun and the music is electrifying!

This town is the ideal vacation place for the whole family. We especially loved the food tours where we interacted with adorable sheep and cows. The kids loved the delicious sausages that were prepared on an open fire. We recommend it for families.

My friends and I were really fascinated with the history of this town. Ouur stay here was so memorable. We visited the Old Castle of Ozalj and it was so mesmerizing. The pieces of historical art displayed were really stunning. Our stay here was so beautiful.

This town is so magical. My kids and I really made epic memories in this town. It is full of lots of restaurants to try out new delicacies. We spent most of the time at the Kupa beach swimming in its waters and sunbathing. My kids had an epic time.

The panoramic view of the Kupa river from the top of this location is ecstatic. I loved how the area was filled with luscious green vegetation and a relaxing ambiance. I will visit again with my fiancee.
