Lastovo
Lastovo ist eine alte mittelalterliche Siedlung in Form eines Amphitheaters mit einer langen und interessanten Geschichte. Es ist die einzige Siedlung auf der Insel, die nicht direkt am Meer liegt. Sie ist von Hügeln umgeben, und auf jedem von ihnen gibt es einen Aussichtspunkt mit Blick auf den Ort und die umliegenden Felder. Die Familienhäuser aus dem 15. und 16. Jahrhundert sind mit "sulari" aus Lastovo und reich verzierten "fumari" (Schornsteinen) geschmückt, die zu einem Markenzeichen von Lastovo geworden sind, und die Treppen aus Lastovo (Steintreppen), die den alten Ortskern um die Kirche herum und darüber hinaus umgeben, vermitteln eine besondere mediterrane Atmosphäre.

This was the most educative trip i had in my life, we learnt of the interesting history about Lastovo. I learnt that it was the only settlement on Island without a sea. An ideal place for historians.

I had taken my film students for a trip here. I loved the amphitheater shape of Lastovo that gave us an idea of how we would build our own amphiater. We took photos in Lastovo for memories.

Thanks to the hills surrounding Lastovo, they provided with the view points. From the top of the hills the views of Surroundings and the settlements in Lastovo were panoramic. I loved how well decorated the chimneys of Lastovo were.

This place had the best restaurants and hotels. I enjoyed visiting different restaurants for the different traditional dishes. I loved the local wines which were well made and served by friendly waiters.

The atmosphere at the place is amazing and the morning and evening walks along the place was awesome. The streets are wonderful with medieval touch that is unique and rich history which precedes the place.

The lookout point on the hills, offered us with magnificent magical views of the place and the surrounding fields. We climbed the Lastovo staircases as we enjoyed the special Mediterranean atmosphere. The structural design of Lastovo is of interest, the old medieval settlement of amphitheater shape.
