Insel Vis
Von allen bewohnten kroatischen Inseln ist Vis die am weitesten von der Küste entfernte und die rätselhafteste. Sie diente die meiste Zeit ihrer jüngeren Geschichte als jugoslawischer Militärstützpunkt und war von den 1950er Jahren bis 1989 von ausländischen Besuchern abgeschnitten. Diese Isolation verhinderte, dass sich die Insel entwickelte, und zwang einen Großteil der Bevölkerung, auf der Suche nach Arbeit woanders hinzuziehen, so dass sie viele Jahre lang unzureichend bewohnt war. Aber gerade wegen der Einfachheit des Lebens, selbst in den entlegensten touristischen Perioden, unterscheidet sich Vis deutlich von anderen Reisezielen.

Getting to see the best monuments near the island was outstanding. They were well positioned. They are the landmarks in the island.

We did observed the breath taking beaches, facnating caves and rich heritage in the area. A place you can call home far away from home.

We had a great experience with kayaking that lead to caves and was icing to the activity as we enjoyed the trip to that side. Absolutely amazing moments.

we had the chance to sail just like the local people with the traditional fishing boat did tricks like generational fisherman and even lanteen and cruised the beautiful landscapes.

We enjoyed tha sports activities that we had the chance to take part in. it was lovely and had the best sporting moment for ourselves.

The view from the highest point on the island was remarkable and also from the chilling spots near the sea were great to live for.
