Parish Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
The parish church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built by the famous defender and liberator of Lika from the Ottomans, the priest Marko Mesić, born in Brinje around 1700, on the remains of the older monastery church of St. Mary of 1476. Today, a fragment of a stone slab from the beginning of the 16th century with a Glagolitic inscription is kept in the church.
