Virovitica
Virovitica je hrvatski grad u blizini mađarske granice, glavni je grad Virovitičko-podravske županije. Smješten je u blizini rijeke Drave i pripada povijesnoj regiji Slavonije. Virovitica ima 14.688 stanovnika, a u općini ima 21.291 stanovnika. Ime Virovitica kao magna villa Wereucha pojavljuje se prvi puta 1234. godine u Kolomanovoj povelji kojom je Virovitica dobila titulu samostalnog kraljevskog trgovišta. Grad je bio dio Osmanskog carstva između 1552. i 1684. godine.Virovitica je grad bogate kulturne baštine. Začetak svih virovitičkih kulturnih blaga seže u vrijeme netom nakon Hrvatskog narodnog preporoda; buđena hrvatstva te državne, nacionalne, povijesne i kulturne svijesti.

If you love nature then you will love visiting the waterfalls, mountains and islands in Virovitica. This place has many more to offer and love. I really explored a lot.

We toured the museum found here and were delighted by how different exhibitions were well displayed here including different artefacts. The castle was calm and peaceful and was the perfect spot for us to relax and escape the bustle of the busy town. Will definitely come back.

We rented a house to stay during our vacation here and they were furnished and fit with air conditioners. The rooms were spacious to accommodate the five of us, and the staff were were friendly and pleasant to be with. In the morning, we enjoyed delicious breakfast meals prepared by the waiters and waitresses here.
