A small, picturesque tourist village and port, it is the easternmost place on the island of Hvar, and also the closest to the mainland. The history of this place is very turbulent and is described by many documents and monuments. Anyone who finds themselves in Sucuraj and wants to spend the day swimming and sunbathing can choose one of the many sandy, pebble or rocky beaches. The sea is crystal clear, and the temperature is more than pleasant from May to October.

I came to this place with my husband and had a great time. Swimming and sunbathing were the main activities we undertook. Lazing at the beach eating ice cream and enjoying talks with the locals were all we did. We left feeling fresh.

The history of the village is exciting and we had the opportunity to visit a couple of interesting places at the place. We visited the beach and experience was wonderful as we enjoyed the sandy beaches as we went for swimming and sunbathing with the superb weather and sun that was relaxing.
