Osijek
Prostran između polja pšenice i rijeke Drave, bogat društvenim i kulturnim sadržajima, prozračan i okružen prirodnim ljepotama - grad po mjeri. Četvrti je najveći grad u Hrvatskoj sa 108.048 stanovnika. Najveći je grad i gospodarsko i kulturno središte istočnohrvatske regije Slavonije, kao i upravno središte Osječko-baranjske županije. Osijek se nalazi na desnoj obali rijeke Drave.Od vremena prapovijesti, područje Panonske nizine civilizacijski je "hotspot". Tijekom antike naseljavaju ga Rimljani, a potom u srednjem vijeku Slaveni i Ugri (Mađari). Osvojivši Slavoniju i velik dio Ugarske, sredinom 16. stoljeća Osmanlije ovdje grade osmo svjetsko čudo – drveni Sulejmanov most koji je iz Osijeka, preko sedam kilometara močvara, vodio do središta Baranje, Darde. Nakon što su krajem 17. stoljeća Osmanlije potisnuli Austrijanci (usput spalivši most) počinje nova faza osječkog graditeljskog "booma". Utvrđeni, središnji dio grada koji se u to vrijeme sastojao od tri odvojena naselja, proglašen je vojnim središtem. Iz močvare će do 1722. niknuti jedna od najvećih tvrđava u Hrvatskoj, poznata i kao Tvrđa.

The architectural history of the city was very fascinating for me as an art student. It was curious and amazing to learn of how the Tvrda Fortress that emerged from a swamp. It's a fascinating place.

The city had several landmarks that helped me find my way in the city. The city's infrastructure from the aerial view is something to appreciate and applaud to, this is the most clean city I've been to. Everything about it is lovely.

Historic site at this place are adorable. The surrounding rivers and greenery make this place a place to relax. The natural beauty is magnificent. I loved this serene rounding and I will come back soon.

A walk through this beautiful place was soothing to my soul. I loved to listen to the sound of the river punctuated by the chirping birds. The air was cool and the smell of wet soil pleasant. The food at the restaurants was delicious and the waiters friendly.

One of the exciting things about the place is the bridge that is well situated and gives the best views of the city and the beautiful nature of the city. Wonderful place that we had a couple of pictures taken for the gram and we enjoyed the time and the atmosphere.

We managed to visit some of the historic places and landmarks in the city and loved the authenticity and the glooming things. The rich culture was fascinating and the statues and monuments around the place were interesting.
