Lake Sabljaci
It is also known under the other name Ogulin Sea, created as an accumulation lake of the river Zagorska Mrezhnica, now it is the pearl of the Ogulin region. In addition to the various sports that visitors do on the lake, sport fishing is the most attractive. Fishing competitions are organized on the lake, which is allowed throughout the year because the lake is rich in fish of various species. The area around the lake is adorned with walking or cycling trails where visitors can enjoy recreational nature sightseeing.

My husband and I went for morning cycling through the various trails in the location. I enjoyed bonding with him in nature and enjoying the beautiful Mediterranean scent and cool calm breeze from the lake. It was a therapeutic and relaxing vacation for us.

My friend and i love visiting this amazing place every year just for sport fishing where we never lost in the competitions. In the evenings we would cycle around the lake along the marked bicycle paths. Unforgettable place indeed.

Sitting by the banks of the lake with my legs in the water the quiet environment was calming and peaceful. The sightseeing of the nature from this spot was one of a kind, the chirping birds were like melody to my ears, very soothing. This place is very therapeutic.

My friends and I visited this place for fun. Morning runs to the bushes were refreshing. We went hiking and later boating in the shallow waters. The experience was amazing

I was a great lover of fish. This place had a wide variety of fish dishes. I learned how to fish and later enjoyed a fish meal prepared traditionally. It was delicious.

I and my buddies visited lake sabljaci and it turned out to be pure fun. The huge trees were nice for picnics and the fresh air was just rejuvenating. It really refreshed us and we hope to be back again.

This is a nice place to visit especially for couples. The lush landscape is to die for while taking hiking trips. My bride and I really enjoyed our trip here during our honeymoon. Its a very romantic place.
