Fuzine

Fuzine is located in Gorski and is also the first place with a view of the Adriatic Sea when traveling from Zagreb to Rijeka. It is a city typical of Gorski kotar and attracts with its infectious Mediterranean atmosphere. It is easy to reach - just a kilometer away from the Zagreb highway - Rijeka You will be delighted by the untouched nature, pleasant facilities and excellent restaurants and you will not be able to resist the delicacies of game meat or delicious mushrooms from the lush forests of Gorski Kotar, freshly caught trout and delicious forest fruit desserts recognizable for the area.Fužine is the first choice for all lovers of nature and active holidays, those who like to escape from crowded tourist places in the summer, but still want to enjoy the easily accessible beaches. Vrelo Cave with its mountain spring, lake and abyss is the biggest attraction of this small town. As is usually the case, it was discovered by chance in the mid-20th century, and due to the country’s location, without stairs, it is the only tourist cave in Europe accessible to people with disabilities and suitable for children of all ages. This region is rich in water, it is an oasis for fishermen and a place with the most annual rainfall in Croatia, so three very attractive lakes have been built in Ruzhine. You can ride a boat, canoe or kayak across the Bayer, and surfers love it because of the suitable and frequent wind. Lepenica is a favorite lake for swimmers, attractive for underwater orienteering, while the recently built Lake Potkoš is becoming increasingly popular among visitors.
