Delnice
Delnice is the center of Gorski kotar and with its 4451 inhabitants is also the largest place. It is located in Delnichko Polje (valley) and surrounded by hills (Drgomalj, Petehovac and Japlenshki Vrh). An interesting fact about Delnice is that they are at an altitude of 698 m Delnice is the center of forestry and wood processing industry.The favorable situation on the main transit routes of the country has made Delnice an important center of tourism, trade and sports.Delnice boasts numerous walks on green and trim trails, as well as several protected natural and cultural assets in the immediate vicinity.The city has long enjoyed a reputation as a spa thanks to its mountainous climate which is considered to be medically stimulating (air baths). Therefore, Delnice is a destination recommended for athletic training at altitude, but also for active vacation, recreation or walking tours. The fresh mountain air, enriched with the scent of conifers, acts as a natural aromatherapy.

My family enjoys hiking and Delnice gave a memorable experience. The parks have gorgeous woods landscapes with amazing nature trails. The experience calmed both the mind and the soul.

I was able to get back into shape in Delnice city after being in the office for a long period. I enjoyed the guided outdoor bike tours by the professional and warm guides. Looking forward to visiting again.

My parents brought us to this place for their anniversary party and we had a really great time. We were captivated by the beautiful places where we had picnics enjoying the lush landscapes and magical sunsets. The vibe here was just awesome.

My friends and I had a really nice time in this town. I especially loved the lush forest parks that had clean fresh air. I enjoyed meditating here and it calmed both my soul and mind. I highly recommend this town.

I and my kids visited this town to relax. We enjoyed our stay and we fondly remember visiting the magnificent museums of this town. We learned so much about the history and culture of Delnice. We will be back for more.

My pals and I had a lot of fun. After spending our day engaging in all the fun activities in this town, we really relished having the delicious meals in its restaurants. Very tasty food served by friendly waiters. We shall surely visit again.

I really had a great time in Delnice. I particularly fell in love with the magical caves in this town. The pictures I took were really nice. I will visit this town again.
