Chepich is a small village located in the eastern part of central Istria on the western coast of the Uchka mountain. Explore the unexplored in Chepich and its surroundings and visit the tunnel through which Chepichko Lake was emptied - an interesting story about the drying up of Chepich Lake (Lago d'Arsa) - noted by Marijan Milevoj. Take a walk through the largest drained lake in the region and the largest truffle site (Chepich) and the western slopes of the Uchka mountain. Today, Chepichko polje is known for its white and black truffles, which grow in symbiosis with poplar. Istrian truffle is one of the most prized in the world. Gourmets agree on only one thing — truffles are the pinnacle of gastronomy.

Namely, Chepich is known for top-quality traditionally made Istrian ingredients and developed agritourism. In the village of Chepich and its surroundings you can taste and buy top quality extra virgin olive oils and homemade cottage cheese, cheese with truffles, semi-hard and hard cheeses.
