Karojba

The wooded hills surrounding Karojba, around the natural springs of Valigashtar and Vruchak, still abound in historical sites that have not been fully explored. Hadum - brig, Krch, Liretov brig, Glogovac, Shublenta ... All these hills were inhabited in prehistoric times, but on several occasions they were razed to the ground, which makes it difficult for historians to combine all these elements and fragments into a single story. Most agree, however, that in Roman times the area around the Valigashtar spring contained a Roman military camp near which Roman roads intersected - the modern name Karojba probably derives from the Roman name Quadrivium - an intersection.Due to its location, Karojba is a good place for recreation today. It is surrounded by beautiful forests and natural trails where you can enjoy synergy with nature while walking.
