Drvenik Mali is a small island on the Adriatic coast. It is only 8 nautical miles from Trogir, but it is very specific because there is no traffic. Its area is 3.3 sq. km. The only settlement on the island is the village of the same name with 54 inhabitants. The coast is well indented, and the sea around the island is shallow, therefore suitable for fishing.Untouched nature and beautiful beaches, peaceful surroundings are perfect for a quiet and intimate vacation. It is not very well known to tourists, so there are never many people on the island, so you will be able to enjoy it completely, without stress, without traffic, just you, nature and the old feeling of Dalmatia. It is perfect for those who want to escape from the rush of everyday life and spend time in a place where time passes slowly surrounded by pure beauty, sea and sun. In the sandy bay of Vela Rina there is a restaurant with a range of local dishes and fresh seafood. In August, there is a fishing party known among people from the area of Trogir and near the island. It's called the Star of the Sea. The island is surrounded by beaches, so you can rent a boat for a day and go exploring the hidden places of this pearl of central Dalmatia. It is easy to reach Trogir by local ferry lines.
