Donja Suvaja is a small village in Zadar County, and belongs to the municipality of Grachac.Near the town is the source of the river Una, which has the shape of a quiet, fairy-tale blue-green lake. The lake is surrounded by forest and steep cliffs. The source of the Una is the deepest karst spring in Croatia and one of the five deepest in the whole world. It has been explored to a depth of 248 meters, but the bottom has not yet been reached. The temperature is constant, 2-3 ° C. The spring with a canyon in the length of 150 meters is protected as a hydrological monument of nature.
