Der Proshchansko See
Es heißt, dass der Proshchansko-See nach Pfählen oder der Legende der Schwarzen Königin benannt wurde, die von den Menschen "gebeten" wurde, während einer großen Dürre Regen zu schicken und das durstige Land zu tränken. Die Königin hatte Mitleid mit den Menschen, bedeckte den Himmel mit schwarzen Wolken, und der Regen fiel und fiel, bis sich die Seen bildeten. Dieser See ist der zweitgrößte und tiefste in Plitvice.

This lake was an awesome visit. The thick forest and the blue calm waters of the lake was really something to remember. There is also a restaurant just a few metres away, The bistro labudovic, which offers a nice resting zone

Hiking trail around the lake was wonderful with amazing views of the sparkling lake and the fresh air the was refreshing and relaxing.

This lake was one of a kind surrounded by other small lakes around and water inlet from River Proshansko Jezero. It has a great irregular shape and clean waters, it has very less activity going on making it an ideal place for meditation

We went swimming at the waters of the lake and had an amazing time and fun on the afternoon hours and it was relaxing.

Its history looks magical and interesting as well. That is was named after a beautiful queen who was asked by people to send the rain and it happened. It is good to visit such places to understand magical naming of places.

We went canoeing at the lake and the experience was uniquely amazing with an awesome team work and a good guide.

The lake was so big because it is the second largest and deepest in this place. We got a chance to do some fishing as we had our fishing equipments with us. What a wonderful holiday
