Podaca
Podaca je priobalno mjesto smješteno u prekrasnom Makarskom primorju nastala na kamenim obroncima visokog Biokova.Danas je Podaca potpuno okrenuta turizmu, što je, uzimajući u obzir njene prirodne ljepote i povoljan položaj i za očekivati. Uz turizam stanovništvo se tradicionalno bavi ribarstvom i maslinarstvom. U blizini Podaca se nalazi crkva Sv. Ivana na groblju , koju su podigli bogati plemići Kačići. To je jedan od najznačajnijih spomenika rano-srednjevjekovne gradnje ovog područja.Podaca se može pohvaliti sa mnogo prekrasnih plaža, od kojih su najpoznatije Ravanje, Vala i Kapače, smještene u sjeni velikih mirisnih borova, te sa mnoštvom dalmatinskih specijaliteta.Podaca sve više postaje mjesto poželjno za mirni odmor. Dok boravite u Podaci ne propustite posjetiti veće turističke destinacije kao što su Makarska, Omiš i Split.

I found it very easy to navigate village due to the natives warm welcome and open communication. I rarely got lost even without a guide.

The cusines I had there were well prepared and could easily be linked to italian cuisine. The staff were very available and even requested for feedback.

We went to the park with the kids and they got engaded in so many acivities. i find the village kids friendly which was a win for our family.

Visiting the sites and learning more about them was incredible. What amazed me is how the sites were preseved and looked neat.

I went skiing and it was such an adventurous experience. The waves were quite wild and i had a difficult time balancing but the sking guy gave me a few tips.

I hired a bicycle which was affordable and was able to see the beautiful hills in podaca. The experience was nice and i would highly recommend.

On my three day holiday I basked frequently on the yatch and loved hearing the ocean waves and people around chatting.
