Vrlika
Vrlika je malo mjesto u unutrašnjosti Splitsko-dalmatinske županije. Najbliži veći gradovi su Sinj, Knin i Drniš. Najstariji dokazi o ljudskom životu u ovoj regiji datiraju iz 30 000 godina prije Krista. Tijekom brončanog doba, između 1900. i 1600. godine prije Krista, na području općine Vrlika postojala je takozvana cetinska kultura. Arheolozi su pronašli drevne grobove, mač iz brončanog doba i druge manje predmete koji datiraju iz tog razdoblja. Ova su otkrića jasno pokazala da je u prošlosti ovo zemljište bilo gusto naseljeno.Godine 1406. napuljski kralj Ladislav daje tvrđavu Prozor, u to vrijeme Castrum Werhlychky hrvatskom plemiću Hrvoju Vukčiću. Tijekom srednjovjekovnog razdoblja Vrlika je, zajedno s ostatkom Balkana, doživjela invaziju i naknadnu okupaciju od strane Osmanskog Carstva. Za vrijeme osmanske vladavine lokalno stanovništvo Vrlike bilo je prisiljeno preći na islam ili otići. Mnogi izvorni doseljenici iz Vrlike otputovali su na otok Olib u Jadransko more kraj hrvatske obale.

My niece and I toured the old forts and fortresses and the learned something about the infrastructural designs of the past visible moso of them.

The ancient graves of Vrlika made me curious on the ancient history. I learned a lot about the culture, religion and beleifs of the ancient world from these rare graves.

The tour guides were so considerate during most of the tours we made. It was an amazing experience to learn about Vrilka with such friendly people.

I enjoyed exploring my hotel's neighbourhood while riding a bike. Sometimes, I would take a stroll around so as to catch locals in their day to day activities.

My appetite could not be satisfied with the native Croatian delicacies. Drinks were served after every meal, and this made my stay so romantic.
