Shpanidiga ist ein kleiner Vorort etwa 5 km von Rovinj und 2 km vom Meer entfernt, an der Hauptstraße Rovinj - Pula. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich die sehr interessante archäologische Stätte Monkodonja, sowie das ornithologische Reservat Palud. Auf dem Weg zu den nahegelegenen Stränden gibt es mehrere sehr bekannte Tavernen und Landgasthöfe, sowie das Weingut.

At the taverns we tasted wines as we danced to the beats of the lively aura of the music playing in the background. We also enjoyed swimming in the afternoon in the beaches that had clean crystal clear water and were uncrowded making our relaxation peaceful. Some of other sights to behold are the interesting archaeological sites and ornithological reserves.

We loved this place for its pristine beauty. It was a park home for endangered birds. I loved watching these birds as they came and went. I enjoyed my stay at this place.

I can only describe it as a great adventure, the location of Shpanidiga is just convenient, it is close to the sea. It also hosts an interesting archeological site that one has to visit, the best experience is when one is heading to the beach where one can enjoy themselves even more in the famous taverns and even a winery located along the route. A place with just a lot to enjoy.
