Otok Silba
Otok Silba smješten je u zadarskom arhipelagu, jugoistočno od otoka Malog Lošinja, između susjednih otoka Olib na istoku i Premude na zapadu, naziva se još i "vratima Dalmacije".Pripada skupini naseljenih hrvatskih otoka manje veličine.Jedino naselje na otoku je mjesto Silba. Otokom vlada mir i tišina jer na Silbi nema prometa, što posjetiteljima omogućava potpuno psihićko opuštanje i relaksaciju. Otok je nekad bio vrlo pomorski orijentiran kada je u 18. stoljeću Silba imala flotu od stotinu jedrenjaka. Danas njegovo stalno stanovništvo broji nešto manje od 300 ljudi koji su uglavnom uključeni u turističku industriju. Silba ima puno malih plaža i uvala u kojima se može uživati u kupanju i sunčanju u bistrim i nezagađenim vodama Jadrana. Popularna znamenitost je Toreta, mala kula sa spiralnim stubištem koja pruža pogled na Silbu i krajolik. Toreta se nalazi u samom selu, u samom centru.Silba je dobro povezana trajektima iz Zadra, Malog Lošinja, Pule i Venecije, kao i s ostalim otocima u zadarskom arhipelagu.

This woode Island is a must visit. My friends and I enjoyed our summer vacation in this place. Its beaches were so spectacular. Swimming int morning was something I would live to remember. I was fascinated with the 'no motor vehicles' policy,

I had an amazing summer vacation when I toured this Island. There was no traffic buzz. I would spend most of the time by the beach with was so relaxing. Walking on the streets of this Island admiring its buildings was a norn to many.

The harbors in this location contribute to the culture of the people. I spent most of my evenings at the harbor in this location watching as some of the waters arrived from fishing. It was a great experience to learn about the catching techniques and preservation methods.

This location has an intimate ambiance to it. I loved the fact it was not very populated and the locals were friendly. My wife and I enjoyed our intimate getaway in this location, interacted with the locals and learned about their way of life.

The island is really refreshing, no vehicles are allowed on hence you only enjoy calm sounds. It is very less crowded and is good for hiking and walking for an adventure

The boat rides around the island were phenomenal. It is was a romantic session for me and my girlfriend, we loved the seafood and the company.

We were three agricultural officers who decided to visit the place and have an educative class over there on how to improve fishing activities in our area. We learnt Its rich history and why it is described as Gate of Dalmatia. It is good to expound our knowledge by visiting different areas as we did.
