Na zapadnoj strani otoka Lošinja smjestila se usamljena uvala Balvanida. To je jedno od omiljenih mjesta u akvatoriju Lošinja, te nudi dobru zaštitu od svih vrsta vjetrova.Ukoliko se odlučite za brdsku stazu između Malog i Velog Lošinja, odnosno takozvani Napoleonski put prema brdu Sv. Ivana, uživat ćete u pogledu na prekrasan lošinjski arhipelag. Staza Balvanidi vam ujedno pruža i pogled na sve uvale na zapadnoj strani otoka Lošinja.

Također, u ovoj maloj uvali nalazi se i restoran koji nudi bogate, svježe morske specijalitete.

I loved the view of the beautiful Lošinj archipelago while at the same time enjoying the cool shade from the trees. The trail leading to the to this beach gives someone a breathtaking view of all the bays in the west side of the island of Losinj. In addition to the beauty of thi beach I enjoyed the seafood cuisines offered, a nice place to visit.

I marvelled at the beauty of the Lošinj archipelago basking in the tree shade. The trail to the beach offers an enchanting view of all the western bays of the island of Losinj. I enjoyed seafood treats at beach after a good swim. Looking forward to visiting again.

The crystal blue waters were very beautiful to see, it also has a nice entrance to the sea and a Restaurant Balvanida which really offers amazing food as you view the sea. I had a chance to clear my mind and i really appreciate myself for making that right choice
